Lily Pollock

Lily Pollock - Pilates Teacher - The Octagon Family Chiropractic & Pilates Clinic

In April 1999, after completing a job for the Taos Film Festival in New Mexico, Lily started training to be a Pilates teacher at the Physical Mind Studio in Santa Fe with Celia Hulton.  On returning to England in 2001 she continued her studies for two years at Pilates off The Square with Dominque Janssen and Sian Williams, qualifying in Matwork (2002) and Equipment Pilates through the Pilates Foundation UK in 2003 and has been teaching ever since.

Lily teach all levels of fitness from injury and rehab to advanced repertoire.  Her aim is to bring focus, precision and quality of movement, to the client in order to develop the deepest level of support. As well as working with long-term private clients over the last 21 years she has taught at:

  • The Abbey Studio, James d’Silva (now known as Gueruda)
  • Pilates off The Square
  • West London Osteopath
  • Tri-Yoga
  • And covered classes for various teachers at an assortment of venues

Currently:
Lily has been teaching Pilates equipment at the Octagon Chiropractic Clinic since 2019 – her hours at the clinic are:

Tuesdays 8-12pm and Fridays 8-1pm

Home visits: 
Several regular clients with varying movement abilities, taking them through re-hab (where required) and forward to functional and strengthened movement.

Continued training:
As a member of the Pilates Foundation  Lily regularly attends classes and workshops.

She is also a member of the PPG (Pilates Professionals Group).
